Description
The TNF Receptor II Cell-Based ELISA Kit is a convenient, lysate-free, high throughput and sensitive assay kit that can monitor TNF Receptor II protein expression profile in cells. The kit can be used for measuring the relative amounts of TNF Receptor II in cultured cells as well as screening for the effects that various treatments, inhibitors (ie. siRNA or chemicals), or activators have on TNF Receptor II.

- 37% formaldehyde (Sigma Cat# F-8775) or formaldehyde from other sources
- Deionized or sterile water
- Squirt bottle, manifold dispenser, multichannel pipette reservoir or automated microplate washer
- Graph paper or computer software capable of generating or displaying logarithmic functions
- Absorbent papers or vacuum aspirator
- Test tubes or microfuge tubes capable of storing 1 ml
- Orbital shaker
- Poly-L-Lysine (Sigma Cat# P4832 for suspension cells)

Answer
The agonistic properties of EKC1688 TNF Receptor II Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA were tested in a proliferation assay with mouse thymocytes (H-thymidine uptake was measured). The test results showed that 3ug/ml leads to cell activation (0.3ug/ml and 1ug/ml did not lead to cell activation).
